Pension Villa Ida in Vranov nad Dyjí

Villa Ida offers accommodation in Vranov nad Dyjí in an Art Nouveau villa located directly on the bank of the Thaya River (Dyje in Czech) with walking and biking trips around the romantic surroundings. We provide double and triple rooms and one suite for 4 – 5 persons. All rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom with toilet. The total capacity of the villa is 15 people.

Villa Ida is a beautiful Art Nouveau building from 1907 – 1908 originally built for Mrs Ida Janowski. From 1945 to 2004, the villa belonged to the state, when it served as an apartment building. In 2004, it was purchased from the state by a private investor and later renovated in 2007.

Villa Ida is located in the very heart of Vranov nad Dyjí near the Vranov Dam and Podyjí National Park, in the peaceful, quiet Bělidla Street on the bank of the Thaya River. On the opposite bank rises an 83m high monumental rock that evokes a mystical experience during the day and night. Its top is crowned with a beautiful Baroque chateau, which is rightly called "Pearl of the Baroque". Sitting in the garden below the rock evokes the most romantic ideas in every soul.

Rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortable furniture for your relaxation, a satellite TV set, and WiFi. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower or bath and toilet. Towels and hair driers are ready at your disposal. All rooms are equipped with a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, cooker, kettle, and ample crockery.

You can eat in the many restaurants in the town or at the Vranov Dam. We recommend the restaurant Country Salon in Vranov nad Dyjí, which is located just a few meters from the villa and which offers delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (also for vegans and vegetarians).
